ETERNAL VOYAGE
Eternal Voyage maps a sequence of impossible transits through enclosed architectural chambers, suspended props, and recursive thresholds. Across shifting planes of shadow and solid ground, the protagonist navigates the tension between staged illusions and the futile search for an authentic exit.
Indoor Flight, 2026. A stationary prop hung above the tunnel road, watched by gloved walkers under artificial light. The engine holds its place beneath indoor rafters while the footbridge traffic moves on below.
Turned Back, 2026. Barred from the crest by a towering guardian, she descends toward the lower archway under an artificial bulb, leaving a distant silhouette inside the sun.
The Unstretched Line, 2026. Suspended red cords are pulled taut between moving hands on screens, contrasted by the quiet figure and the slack thread resting on the gallery floor.
Heavy Companion, 2026. A dense stone hangs suspended over her face, held in motionless potential. Between the heavy mass and fragile skin, a distant sun glows along the horizon — a luminous buffer at the point of collision.
Borrowed Height, 2026. Standing atop a broken relic to peer past the perimeter, balanced only as long as the sun remains uncovered by the incoming cloud.
Nested Sky, 2026. Peering into a box painted like the sky, she watches herself repeat the gesture below, while her own colossal head looms from above outside the box.
Without Fruition, 2026. Holding a picture of herself holding a picture of herself, she spirals inward through infinite layers of self-scrutiny — an introspective loop searching for a substance it never finds.
The Projected Path, 2026. She climbs upwards across an impossible gap, where only her silhouette manages to reach the open door.
Concrete Water, 2026. Turning away from the illuminated arch, swimmers leap and dive into the solid floor, abandoning the open door for an impossible passage through concrete.
